We've been wondering who attacked the pumpkins. And why weren't they smashed on the road, in the traditional Halloween manner?

When I saw this first picture I knew it must of been a critter -- I thought probably a raccoon. How wonderful you were able to capture the squirrel in action. Great to know the pumpkins aren't going to waste!
I wonder if coyotes around here get to eat them? We did not put any out this year.
