Early Morning Takeoff at KittyWalk, NY

We've been talking about this for ages. The cats need outdoor air; we need the a/c. Ellie likes company, but the cats tend to slip the leash. Elmira, NY is a cat leash-law city. Solution: the KittyWalk.

The walk is visible from our workstation. And Ellie protects my cats from dogs. Punchline: we live in a cat-leash city, right on the border of a town that doesn't even have a dog leash-law. Not that we can swear by, anyway.

Expensive? Oh, yeah. It will pay for itself in no time, no doubt. Love it.

Gitmo for cats! Appropriate in this town, where we've already had to bail out kitties lots of times before. We've always had bad neighbors who trap cats through the local pound. Well, cat-hating neighbors, anyway.

How ridiculous can some lawmakers be? Yours must be afraid that an unleashed cat will jump out of the bushes and leap up to someone's throat so they can mangle the jugular vein. After all, we all know the tiny teeth on cats are sharp, as are their claws.

Meanwhile a loose pit bull might be gnawing on some child's skinny leg, but it's the cats that do the most damage. (dripping sarcasm!!!)
