It is soooooo cold

that the power breaks in my car didn't work. My car had been sitting in the sunshine since dawn, too.

They froze on the way to my 9:30 doctor's appointment. I immediately backtracked towards home, but they got better by the time I pulled up to the house. Wasn't late for my appointment, either.

Felt like the time my electrical failed, and I had to really stomp on the pedal.

Not entirely safe! Nope, not at all.

Hah, this reminds me of those games, "it's so cold, you can...." and then we could fill in the blanks. We keep getting arctic surges coming down on us, but our cold snap is supposed to finally ease off after this weekend.

I had the blower motor replaced in my car just in time, because our cold wave started right after that. Couldn't get heat in the car as it was before that, and if I hadn't had the motor replaced, I seriously would have been seriously frigid. But it's even cold in whatever building I go in. At work, the warmest place is the women's bathroom; now the guys are going in there just to warm up!

No joke! We go downstairs to the ladies room on the first floor, because THEY have hot water!
