Riverblog. Country sort of city.

Welcome to the City of Elmira. Many waterfront towns have no accessible nature areas. This scene is a very short walk from Dininny Street. Once below the dike, a walker no longer hears the noise of Water Street. Even the traffic noise from the bridges fades away. I hear birds and water and a panting, impatient Ellie. She's pulling the leash to drag me to the Chemung River's edge. Posted by Hello
